The Trio World Academy was established in 2007 in the Sahakara Nagar area of Bangalore, near the airport. The school lays heavy emphasis on co-curricular activities such as music, art, dance and design, and strongly encourages students to excel beyond academics.

  1. International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) at the primary level, the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum for middle school and an option to choose between IB and CAIE at the senior level.
  2. Teachers are encouraged to utilize advanced technological tools and the school has an iPad program that eliminates the need for books.
  3. Facilities offered by the school include IT and computer and science laboratories, playground and sports fields, swimming pool, indoor gaming area, library, infirmary, cafeteria, special education department
  4. A wide variety of sports are taught in the school, including football, basketball, touch rugby, baseball, swimming, cricket and table tennis. The school provides specialized coaching during after-school hours for many of the sports.
  5. Co-curricular activities include theater activities, art club, yoga and story time, community service, gardening and home science.
  6. The school has students from many nationalities and has an English as a Second Language (ESL) programme.
  7. It also has a Korean Content School program for those interested in Korean culture and Taekwondo.
  8. Trio has a special program and a university guidance counselor to help students in university placements.

Limitations

  1. International curriculum can be very demanding. The school doesn’t provide an option for Indian curricula, such as CBSE and CISCE.
